does anyone know an easy way to balance a ceiling fan?

mine’s a hunter and it wobbles like crazy
help!
I tried using paper clips (those black ones with the silver swinging tabs)
and tried putting little screws in the blades
but still struggling

Trying to use the balancing kits is a pain in the butt,
but it has a temporary weight you can move that clips onto the fan paddles.
Keep moving it around till the wobble seems to get better and replace it with a weight.
But there’s other reasons why a ceiling fan would wobble.
The 1st thing to check is the box.
I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve had to change out the box because someone had hung a ceiling fan on one that wasn’t rated for it.
Simple light fixture boxes are usually secured with nails.
This won’t hold a fan securely with all the vibrations from it.
This being a safety issue, it should be the first thing you check.
Next, check the paddles themselves.
These are weighed and balanced by the factory and sometimes, for whatever reason, they will warp.
If yours are warped, you can order new ones from Hunter.
Check to make sure all the screws are tight.
If you still have a wobble,
then I would consider a new unit.
