Trouble with a Hampton Bay ceiling fan?

I’m a first time and last time buyer of a Hampton Bay Fan. I bought a Redington IV fan about 6 months ago and it just stopped working. No great service from Hampton either. They want me to spend $45 on a transformer and of course its not covered under warranty. Did anyone else have trouble with these fans? I’m sticking with Hunters Fans. In 14 years in this house I never had a problem with all 6 fans.

YES! I just got it fixed today. The sensor on the fan for the remote burned out withing a month of using it. It’s ridiculous. There are two different switches for the manual control and the remote, so if one doesn’t work niether works. Will not buy from them again and will advise anyone against buying one.
