cost having a ceiling fan installed where there’s no existing power source?
I recently moved into a condo and would like to have a ceiling fan installed in my living room, but there is no existing power source up there for one. Anyone out there have an approximate cost of how much it would run me to have the electric hooked up for the fan? I have no idea how much something like this costs. I know it can be done here as a few of the units we looked at had them.
Luckily my parents know an electrician who has done some really good work for them in the past. They don’t think I would find anyone cheaper then him. I’m going to call him Mon am but in the meantime thought I would post something here. Thanks!
I would say our ceiling height is about 9ft. We live in an upper unit with an attic area up above us.
It would be very hard to give estimate on this work without knowing how high ceiling is, If there is crawlspace above ceiling, How far to power source etc. Installation with the least obstructions I would charge at least $300.00. And you furnish the Fan…
