How to stop CPU fan from generating so much noise?
My CPU fan is doing so much noise. How can I make it run smooth and noiseless. Please help me. Thanks.
This could be a sign of a future problem. If the motherboard or the video card is overheating, the fan will try and overwork to cool it down. This usually happens on home PCs that are used for Graphic Intensive games when they weren’t originally designed to handle that type of load. Eventually the heat generated by overworking the internals of your PC will burn out the capacitors on the motherboard. If you have an on board video card, install a PCI or AGP video card that is not integrated on your motherboard. More fans inside your PC are also a good idea.
Another scenario is that if you have maxed out the RAM on the PC board (motherboard) and the CPU or the power supply is not capable of handling all of that memory. Install a more powerful CPU or power supply, or both.
If your PC is still under warranty, contact your Tech Support and report the problem. Better to do it now when it is still free than later when you have to shell out $200.00 for a new PC board.
